Baileys Almond Milk Liqueur Officially Certified Vegan

Baileys Almonde Almondmilk Liqueur will be re-releasing in March as a certified vegan product.

almond milk LiqueurLast year Baileys introduced a liqueur made with almond milk, which immediately drew the attention of the vegan community. However, despite being made from almond milk, the product released without being certified vegan. Thankfully that has changed, and starting in March Baileys is releasing their Almande Almondmilk Liqueur as a certified vegan product.

“We are very excited about the positive interest Baileys Almand Almondmilk Liqueur has received since our recent test launch in select cities around the US.”, says Nicola Heckles, Director of Liqueurs at Diageo North America (the parent company of Baileys). “The innovative new product has allowed consumers that are looking for a dairy-free and gluten-free option to now enjoy the delicious taste of Baileys.”

Heckles continues; “Particularly, the vegan community has expressed great interest in the product both here in the US and beyond. As a result, we have taken the time to reformulate the liquid and are especially excited to announce that Baileys Almande Almondmilk Liqueur is now a certified vegan product. It will be available nationwide beginning in March with new packaging featuring the official vegan symbol on the bottle.”

Baileys almond milk is made from “sweet almond oil and almond essence (extracted from crushed almonds), cane sugar and purified water with a touch of real vanilla”.
