San Francisco’s First Vegan and Gluten-Free Bakery Now Open

cookiesSan Francisco now has an entirely vegan and gluten-free bakery in the newly opened Wholesome Bakery, located at 3376 18th St. between Mission and Capp.

Products by the Wholesome Bakery can be found in two dozen stores throughout San Francisco and Berkley, but the new San Fran-based Wholesome Bakery is the company’s first brick-and-mortar bakery.

cakesItems featured at the bakery include scones (banana chocolate, mixberry lemon, etc.), cake donuts (lavender, snickerdoodle), cupcakes, cookie sandwhiches and brownies, among many other items. The bakery will also include rotating lunch items such as spiced white bean soup with kale and sweet potato tacos.

Those not in the San Francisco area are in luck, as you can also order a large amount of the bakeries products online; you can find their full list by clicking here.

Wholesome Bakery plans to open locations in LA, Austin, Portland and Seattle in the near future.

Best wishes for your success! This is such a great sign of good things to come. I can’t wait til there’s more vegan options available and accessible — bakeries, groceries, delis, fast-food joints, pubs, fine dining, etc. — for everyone, everywhere!
