Disney’s Epcot Theme Park will soon be launching an entirely plant-based food booth located at their port of entry.
The Walt Disney World Resort, which includes Epcot, has gained some praise in recent years for their increasing plant-based food options at their theme parks and resorts. Disney is now taking the logical next step and beginning to open entire locations within their theme parks that are vegan, starting this holiday with Epcot’s new Nochebuena Cocina.
Although the full menu for this restaurant has yet to be released, a few items have been confirmed:
- Impossibleā¢ Chorizo Tamale with Plant-based Cotija Cheese and Spicy Red Chile Sauce (which was announced in a recent press release)
- Mojo Pork with Tostones
- Vanilla Shortbread Cookies with Dulce de Leche and Coconut
Epcot, which stands for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, first launched in 1982. It is one of several theme parks that make up the Walt Disney World Resort, and has over 12 million visitors annually.
