Impossible Foods Opens Two Concession Stands at Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena

Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena, home to the NHL’s Seattle Kraken and the WNBA’s Seattle Storm, now has two concession stands operated by Impossible Foods.

In sections 11 and 12 of the arena guests will find two separate Impossible concession stands, offering up items such as Impossible Burgers, Impossible Chicken Nuggets, Impossible Korean BBQ Beef Bowls and Impossible Meatball Submarines. Although unfortunately none of the cheese offered is vegan, the items can be purchased with the cheese removed.

In addition to serving as the home for the Seattle Kraken and WNBA team Seattle Storm, the arena serves as an event space for the sports industry.

“The arena is totally state of the art,” says Peter McGuinness, Impossible Foods CEO. “From its incredible design and food offerings to the fact that it’s the first net zero certified arena in the world. Our partnership with Climate Pledge Arena is a great example of how we can work together to infuse sustainable practices into more industries. [I] really hope to see more of this.”

The Climate Pledge Arena is the world’s first sports arena to gain a net zero carbon certification by International Living Future Institute. Originally built for the 1962 World Fair, the arena has since received a major revamp and redesign.
